Angel is one of the busiest areas in North London and has a ton of things to see and do. Chapel Market provides a wide range of independent stalls and street food to enjoy six days a week while the Angel Shopping centre has all your favourite shops and even a Vue Cinema housed within. Film fanatics are spoiled for choice, with the famous Screen on the Green cinema showing the latest films in walking distance of Islington Green. Not far down the road you can find St Mary’s Church which provides breathtaking architecture with quiet gardens - the perfect spot for a read and lunch from one of Angel’s many cafes!

Balham is a lively district full of great bars and restaurants, independent shops and all your usual staples. On top of that, Balham is also home to some of the best green spaces to take a walk in London with a host of great parks tucked behind the sleepy suburb houses.

Whether you’re in Beaconsfield for the day or a slightly longer stay, there are loads of things to do on your own or as a family. One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London.
